Ex con gets 40 years for torching his estranged wife's car

FORT WORTH -- An ex-con who doused his estranged
wife's car with gasoline and set it on fire was sentenced to 40 years in prison
Wednesday, according to the Tarrant County district attorney's office.
Jurors convicted Roy Robertson Mallard Jr. of arson,
and state District Judge Louis Sturns assessed punishment.
